Damian Lillard started shooting up everyone’s draft boards after an All-America senior season at Weber State during which he averaged more than 24 points, five rebounds and four assists per game.

The Portland Trail Blazers took the point guard with the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.

Lillard was the Rookie of the Year in 2012-13 and has been a two-time All-Star, as well as earning All-NBA honors in both 2013-14 and 2015-16.

He was third in the NBA in three-pointers in 2013-14, fourth in 2015-16 and fifth in 2012-13, also finishing third in minutes per game in 2012-13.

In 2015-16, Lillard took his play to a new level. He averaged career-highs in scoring and assists, putting up 25.1 points, 6.8 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 35.7 minutes per game on .419/.375/.892 shooting.

The Blazers–with four new starters–were a season-worst nine games below the .500 mark at 15-24 on Jan. 8, but finished on a 29-14 run to qualify for the playoffs for the third straight season. Lillard averaged 25.3 points and 6.7 assists over the final 43 games.

In four seasons in Portland, Lillard has averaged 21.4 points, 6.3 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 36.5 minutes per game, shooting .426/.370/.870.

He signed an extension of his rookie deal in July 2015 and is now under contract with the Blazers through 2020-21.

Lillard is 25th in NBA history with a free-throw percentage of .870.
