Golden State Warriors: 5 Must-See Games In 2016-17 Season
Feb. 11, 2017: Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder
Ah yes! This has to be one of, if not the most anticipated games on the NBA schedule next season.
These two clubs faced off in the 2016 Western Conference Finals, with the Thunder taking a 3-1 lead through the first four games.
However, the Warriors responded with three straight victories, becoming just the 10th team in NBA history to come back from a 3-1 deficit in a playoff series.
No one was more disappointed following that Game 7 loss than Durant. Conventional wisdom would have led us to believe that Durant would re-sign with the Thunder for the opportunity to beat the Warriors in the postseason next year, right?
As we all know, though, Durant opted to take his talents to the Bay Area in hopes of winning his first championship. That decision opened the door for a varying degree of responses from former NBA greats, including Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley.
Some will view Durant as a villain for joining forces with the Warriors. At the same time, others will support him for making the most of his free-agency options.

Regardless of which side of the fence you’re on, Durant’s return to Oklahoma City will be quite the spectacle to say the least.
