The Golden State Warriors will be on a mission to re-claim what they feel should’ve been theirs — the NBA championship. Here is a look at a few notable matchups from their upcoming 2016-17 season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the Golden State Warriors did just about everything right. With a 73-9 mark, they won more regular season games than any other team in NBA history.
They were the highest scoring team in the league with 114.9 points per contest; they led the league in point differential (+10.8) and their 41.6 percent conversion rate from distance was the best mark in the league.
But for all of their impressive accomplishments, the Dubs came up short in their quest to repeat as NBA champions. So to improve their chances of going back to the Finals for a third straight time, the Warriors acquired the league’s top free agent — Kevin Durant.
In light of the Durant signing, every game this year will be must-see television for Warriors fans.
That being said, here is a look at some of their most notable matchups from the upcoming 2016-17 season.
