Wallace became an All-Star in 2010, also earning All-Defensive honors in 2009-10.

He led the NBA in steals in 2005-06, finishing fourth in 2006-07 and fifth in 2007-08. He was fourth in field-goal percentage in 2005-06 and second in minutes per game in 2009-10.

He was the last of the original Bobcats when he was traded in February 2011 to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Dante Cunningham, Joel Przybilla, Sean Marks, cash and first-round picks in 2011 and 2014.

In parts of seven seasons in Charlotte, Wallace averaged 16.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.2 blocks in 36.8 minutes per game, shooting .477/.322/.726.

Wallace averaged 9.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game as a freshman at Alabama before entering the draft.

He was selected 25th overall by the Kings in the 2001 NBA Draft.

Wallace was traded in March 2012 to the New Jersey Nets and was with the team when it moved to Brooklyn for the 2012-13 season.

In July 2013, he was traded to the Boston Celtics and was traded twice in July 2015, first to the Golden State Warriors and then to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Waived by the 76ers in September 2015, Wallace remains unsigned after not playing in 2015-16.
