Kevin Love Leads The NBA In Rebounds Per Game

During his days with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Kevin Love was arguably the best rebounder in the game. He led the NBA in rebounding in 2010-11, and routinely finished among the top players when it came to cleaning the glass.

Even since landing in Cleveland, he’s been a top-15 finisher each season.

It’s time for him to return to his dominance in the paint.

Obviously it’s difficult for Love to rack up huge rebound numbers with players like LeBron James and Tristan Thompson crowding the frontcourt. However, he’s more than capable, and appears to be finding a groove as a member of the Cavaliers.

In his third year in Cleveland, I think it’s time for Love to start living up to his elite skill set.

Even with James and Thompson pulling down their fair shares of rebounds, Love is going to get back to owning the boards.

During his days in Minnesota, he had performances of 15.2, 13.3, 14 and 12.5 rebounds per game. When the 2016-17 regular season is over, he’ll have topped all of those totals and earned his second rebounding title.
