Ray Allen Signs Midseason Deal With Warriors
You can never have too much firepower from behind the three-point line, right?
There have been rumors for the past couple of years that Ray Allen has been looking to sign with a top contender. Although he hasn’t graced the NBA hardwood since 2014, it’s safe to presume he’s still got some game left in those 41-year-old legs.

While the Warriors don’t necessarily need the extra shooting, Allen brings a veteran presence and clutch scoring to the court. He’s arguably the greatest long-distance shooter in NBA history, and would provide a spark off the bench–especially during the postseason.
Last we heard about Allen, he was in discussions with the Milwaukee Bucks about making his return to the NBA (via Woelfel’s Press Box). While that obviously never came to fruition, a short stint with the Warriors could be exactly what he needs to end his career on the right note.
Allen may be old, but he’s more than capable of making significant contributions. If he shows serious interest in joining the Warriors, you better believe they would reciprocate those feelings.
