4. John Wall is a star

Few players appear to be more primed for a renascence in the coming NBA season than John Wall. Having a star player of Wall’s caliber is still a huge difference maker in the NBA, even though it is still a team sport and you need a complete roster to compete in the improved Eastern Conference.

When you look at the teams in the East, only the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers can boast that they have at least one player that is clearly better than John Wall.

While the Toronto Raptors may argue in favor of Kyle Lowry, as well as the Knicks in favor of Carmelo Anthony, the point remains that Wall is a rare commodity and with an improved roster around him, he should be poised to make a difference and help lock up a playoff spot for the Washington Wizards.

Pairing Wall with Brooks, who made such a significant impact on Westbrook should be an exciting union to keep an eye on in the coming season. Wall, along with Kyrie Irving and Damian Lillard all are young guards looking to take the leap into the top tier of their position next season.

While Irving and Lillard received plenty of shine in the playoffs last season, it seems Wall has flown under the radar–leaving him poised to burst back onto the scene next season.
