25 Best International Players Of All Time
17. Luol Deng, Sudan
Luol Deng makes the list at No. 17. He has played for 12 seasons so far and has recently signed with the Los Angeles Lakers for another couple.
Deng has been solidly special, a player who has been just less than a star for most of his career. An example of this is his time with the Miami Heat. When he signed on he was going to be the third cog in the wheel behind Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
Unfortunately those plans have not worked out due to Bosh’s health but through the play of Deng, Miami are still a very hard team to beat despite not having Bosh in the line up.

Throughout his 823-game career, Deng has averaged 15.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steal per contest. These are really good numbers to be putting up along side more prominent teammates in Derrick Rose and Wade.
Deng’s honors include making the All-Rookie first team in 2004-05. He was also on the All-Defensive second team in 2011-12.
Deng is also a two-time All-Star in 2012 and 2013, which is a good reward for his play.
Deng is reaching the twilight of his career, but I am sure that we are still going to see some quality basketball from his over the next couple of years.
