Evans settled in at the small forward spot for the Pelicans in his first season before shifting back to shooting guard the last two years, all while also handling much of the playmaking responsibilities.

He battled a knee injury most of last season before being shut down for the season in late January. Limited to only 25 games, Evans averaged 15.2 points, 6.6 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 30.6 minutes per game on .433/.388/.796 shooting.

In three seasons in New Orleans, Evans is averaging 15.5 points, 6.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 31.2 minutes per game, shooting .441/.302/.742.

Evans was the fourth overall pick out of Memphis by the Kings in the 2009 NBA Draft and was Rookie of the Year in 2009-10.

He has one year remaining on the four-year, $43.9 million deal he signed with New Orleans.
