SG. 2010-12. Marco Belinelli. 17. player. 69. How acquired: Trade, Toronto Raptors, Aug. 11, 2010.

Marco Belinelli was having some trouble finding a rotation spot in the NBA at the time the New Orleans Hornets acquired him from the Toronto Raptors in August 2010 in exchange for Julian Wright.

He had no such trouble with the Hornets, bringing his outside shooting touch to the starting lineup for much of his time with the club prior to signing with the Chicago Bulls in July 2012.

In two seasons in New Orleans, Belinelli averaged 11.1 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 26.9 minutes per game, shooting .427/.396/.783.

Belinelli was the 18th overall pick from Fortitudo Bologna in Italy by the Golden State Warriors in the 2007 NBA Draft.

He was traded in July 2009 to the Raptors.

In July 2013, Belinelli signed with the San Antonio Spurs, earning a championship ring in 2014. He signed a three-year, $19 million contract with the Sacramento Kings in July 2015.

Last season, he was mostly a reserve for the Kings, averaging 10.2 points in 24.6 minutes per game on .386/.306/.833 shooting.

Belinelli was on the move again in July 7, 2016, when he was traded to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for the rights to 22nd overall pick Malachi Richardson. He is signed through 2017-18.
