Anthony Peeler had gotten off to a slow start with the Vancouver Grizzlies in 1997-98 because of knee problems and in February 1998, the Minnesota Timberwolves acquired the left-hander in exchange for Doug West.

Peeler provided shooting for the Wolves both as a starter and reserve before he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks with Joe Smith in exchange for Sam Cassell and Ervin Johnson in June 2003.

In parts of six seasons in Minnesota, Peeler averaged 9.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and a steal in 27.2 minutes per game, shooting .422/.379/.811.

Chosen 15th overall out of Missouri by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1992 NBA Draft, Peeler was traded to Vancouver in July 1996.

Waived by the Bucks in July 2003, Peeler signed with the Sacramento Kings and led the NBA in 3-point shooting in 2003-04.

He signed with the Washington Wizards in July 2004, retiring at the end of the 2004-05 season.
