The Orlando Magic picked up a guy to do the dirty work when they signed forward Bo Outlaw as a free agent in September 1997.

Outlaw was a sometimes-starter at power forward in his first stint with the Magic, when he was second in the NBA in field-goal shooting in 1997-98 (.554).

to the Magic from Phoenix.

Outlaw returned to Orlando in September 2005 as a free agent and spent parts of three injury-plagued campaigns with the Magic before he was waived in November 2007 and retired.

In parts of eight seasons in Orlando, Outlaw averaged 6.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.1 steals in 26.8 minutes per game, shooting .585/2-for-12/.545.

Undrafted out of Houston in 1993, Outlaw signed with the Grand Rapids Hoops of the Continental Basketball Association before he was picked up on two 10-day contracts, and later for the remainder of the season, by the Los Angeles Clippers in February 1994.

Outlaw was traded in September 2003 to the Memphis Grizzlies and was released by Memphis in November 2004.

He signed with the Suns a week later and played the 2004-05 season in Phoenix.

His .567 career field-goal percentage is 11th-best in NBA history.
