PG. . Dana Barros. 13. player. 93. How acquired: Trade, Charlotte Hornets, Sept. 3, 1993.

Dana Barros was traded twice in three days but the second one was the charm, as the Philadelphia 76ers acquired Barros along with Sidney Green, Greg Graham and a first-round pick in 1994 from the Charlotte Hornets in September 1993 in exchange for former All-Star Hersey Hawkins.

Barros had spent his first four seasons as a reserve but made the most of his first opportunity to play regularly, earning Most Improved Player honors in 1994-95 as well as being named an All-Star in 1995.

He was second in the NBA in minutes per game in 1994-95 while also finishing third in 3-point shooting and free-throw shooting and fourth in 3-pointers. He was also fifth in the league in 3-pointers in 1993-94.

He turned his stint with the 76ers into a nice payday, signing as an unrestricted free agent with the Boston Celtics in September 1995.

In two seasons in Philadelphia, Barros averaged 16.9 points, 6.4 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 35.8 minutes per game, shooting .481/.426/.872.

Barros was the 16th overall pick out of Boston College by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 1989 NBA Draft and led the NBA in 3-point shooting in 1991-92.

In September 1993, he was traded to the Hornets before coming to the 76ers.

In August 2000, he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks in a four-team deal but was swapped again to the Detroit Pistons in October 2000.

Unsigned as a free agent after the 2001-02 season, Barros sat out nearly two years before returning to Boston as a free agent in April 2004. Unsigned after the season, he retired.

He is 17th in NBA history with a 3-point percentage of .411 and 39th with a free-throw percentage of .858.
