Kyle Collinsworth

  • Age: 24
  • Height: 6’6″
  • College: BYU

Kyle Collinsworth definitely had one of the most successful college careers we’ve seen recently.

He’s known as Mr. Triple-Double because of his ability to do just a little bit of everything. In 2014-15, Collinsworth set the record for the most triple-doubles in NCAA history, recording six. Then he did it all over again in 2015-16, giving him 12 total–the most triple-doubles in a college career.

More from Dallas Mavericks

After going undrafted, the Mavs picked up Collinsworth on a two-year partially guaranteed deal.

In 2015-16, he averaged 15.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 2.0 steals in 33.8 minutes per game. It’s safe to say that he was quite productive for the Cougars.

Collinsworth is the perfect height because he’s not too tall to play a guard position, but not too short to play a forward position. He’s mixes up his play by using court vision and athleticism and that’s what led the Mavs to sign him.

He won’t be dropping triple-doubles left and right if he earns a spot on the roster, but he could be a valuable swingman if he continues to develop over the years.
