Ronnie Brewer put together a solid junior season at Arkansas, averaging more than 18 points and nearly five rebounds per game before throwing his hat in the professional ring. The Utah Jazz selected the swingman with the 14th overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft.

But after his scoring numbers dropped off, he was traded in February 2010 to the Memphis Grizzlies for a first-round pick in 2011.

In parts of four seasons in Utah, Brewer averaged 10.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 steals in 26.4 minutes per game, shooting .523/.234/.706.

Brewer signed with the Chicago Bulls in July 2010 and joined the New York Knicks as a free agent in July 2012.

In February 2013, he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder and signed with the Houston Rockets as a free agent in August 2013.

Waived by the Rockets in February 2014, Brewer returned to Chicago in April of that year.

The son of former NBA player Ron Brewer went unsigned in the summer of 2014 and returned to pro basketball last season with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the D-League.
