Kevin Martin was a tall, thin combo guard from Western Carolina that the Sacramento Kings took a flyer on late in the first round of the 2004 NBA Draft, selecting the nearly 25-point-per-game scorer 26th overall.

He found his niche at shooting guard, starting 41 games in his second season and taking over the job full-time in his third.

In parts of six seasons with Sacramento, Martin averaged 17.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists and a steal in 30.6 minutes per game, shooting .449/.386/.850.

In October 2012, Martin was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder and in July 2013 went to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a three-team swap.

Waived by Minnesota in March 2016, Martin was picked up as a veteran off the bench by the San Antonio Spurs for the stretch run.

An unrestricted free agent, Martin is currently unsigned for 2016-17.

Martin is 24th in NBA history with a free-throw percentage of .870.
