Following one of the more exciting and entertaining offseasons we’ve seen in a while, the 2016-17 season looks to be quite an intriguing one.

After landing superstar Kevin Durant, the Golden State Warriors have already been crowned the cream of the crop this season and are the team many believe will be the 2017 NBA champions when it’s all said and done.

The flip side of that is that many potential contenders were instantly written off when the move was made, giving them some added motivation to prove critics wrong in this coming season.

The Warriors aren’t the only thing putting a chip on their shoulders, though; some franchises are looking to either prove that their 2015-16 season was not a fluke while others are out to show that they can compete in 2016-17.
