On Friday night in Las Vegas, the USA national basketball team took the court for the first look at the 2016 incarnation of Team USA.

Many wondered if Team USA would struggle with some of the top players, such as LeBron James and Stephen Curry, sitting out.

More from USA Basketball

In front of 16,861 people in T-Mobile Arena, Team USA answered those concerns by blowing out the Argentina national team in a 111-74 rout that would’ve been classified as a first round knockout if it was a boxing match.

The USA squad was led by standout performances from Kevin Durant, Paul George, Carmelo Anthony, and DeMarcus Cousins.

Against fellow NBA players Manu Ginobili and Luis Scola, as well as former NBA players Andres Nocioni and Carlos Delfino, Team USA couldn’t have looked much more dominant.

In the blowout, here’s a few things that we learned about the team that will represent the United States of America in the 2016 Rio Olympics, which will play their first official Olympic game on August 6 against the Chinese national team.
