Derrick Rose: Top 5 Moments With The Chicago Bulls
4. Mar. 7, 2012: Bulls at Milwaukee Bucks
The Bulls were riding a wave of momentum coming into this matchup as they had won seven straight games, while the Bucks were eight games under .500.
The two teams battled back and forth, and much like the outing against the Lakers a few months ago, this contest turned out to be a nail-biter in the closing moments as well.
On the game’s final possession, the Bulls looked to Rose to come to their rescue once again. Although he hadn’t shot the ball particularly well up to that point, everyone in the arena knew who was going to take the final shot, and Rose did not disappoint.
As a result of his game-winning jumper, not only did the Bulls extend their winning streak to eight games, they also swept the season series against their Central Division rivals.
Rose finished the contest with 30 points on 8-for-22 shooting to go along with 11 dimes and eight boards. He also converted all 14 of his attempts from the charity stripe.
