Honorable Mention

The Bulls were facing a Golden State Warriors squad that had won 19 straight games at Oracle Arena. Furthermore, the Warriors were a perfect 14-0 against Eastern Conference teams coming into this matchup.

The Bulls didn’t have much of a shot at winning this game…at least on paper anyways.

However, despite the disparity of talent between the two ball clubs, the Bulls and Warriors needed 53 minutes to decide this one. In the closing seconds of overtime, Rose hit a step-back jumper over Klay Thompson, giving the Bulls a stunning 113-111 victory over the eventual NBA champions.

Rose didn’t have a great night from an efficiency standpoint, as he scored 30 points on 13-for-33 shooting while committing a career-high 11 turnovers. Along with that, Rose became just the second player in history to miss 20 shots and have 10 or more turnovers in a game. The other player was Jason Kidd.

Again, not one of Rose’s best games. But he proved once again that he is able to take and make big shots when the game is on the line.
