5. Trade Sean Kilpatrick For Trey Burke

Before you roll you eyes at this one, hear me out. Look at what happened to D.J. Augustin this year when he was traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Denver Nuggets. Look at what happened to Lance Stephenson when he was traded from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Being traded into a new system can really help certain players. Trey Burke has a smooth shot, he just needs to make better decisions.

The problem that I see with the Utah Jazz is that there are very few players who make their own shot and Burke tends to create a shot (which is not all that great).

If Burke could be surrounded by better offensive players and told that the team plays through Brook Lopez, I think you might find that Trey Burke will become a good player. Not a great player, but a good one.

Burke has a future in the NBA, the physics of his shot tell me that. He simply needs to be on a team who knows how to use him properly.

The Brooklyn Nets will be a better team next year, assuming they can pull off a few good moves with their huge cap space. They really don’t have much further to fall.
