4. New Orleans Pelicans

Another young team that could use a cheap home run on a lower tier free agent is the New Orleans Pelicans.

The departure of stretch 4 Ryan Anderson seems likely with his name being in high demand during the free agency period of this summer.

While Anthony Davis has played a lot of power forward, his size and versatility would be best served at the center position and surrounding him, as well as their growing amount of guard depth with more shooting would be in the team’s best interest.

The Pelicans are in need of depth, but also provide Nicholson with an opportunity to both earn meaningful minutes as well as have the potential for team success as the team looks to get back into the playoff picture.
