1. Toronto Raptors

There’s no place like home and there’s no NBA team closer to home for Andrew Nicholson than the Toronto Raptors.

The Raptors have publicly stated that they want to address the power forward position this summer, but if they do bring back DeMar DeRozan as they’ve stated their funds will be limited when it comes to free agency.

A great mentor for Nicholson would be Patrick Patterson, a player with a similar build and skillset that could help him transition into a consistent role player.

The Raptors took a shot last season at bringing home a potential Canadian stretch 4 in Anthony Bennett, only to have that blow up in spectacular fashion. At least with bringing in Nicholson he’s proven that he can provide some production and be a part of a rotation.

It’s a low-risk gamble that could pay big dividends.
