5. PG Aaron Brooks

On the surface, it would appear that former Chicago Bulls reserve point guard Aaron Brooks had one of the worst seasons of his career this past season, regressing to 7.1 points per game in just 16.1 minutes per game on 40.1 percent shooting.

His 16.1 minutes per contest over the 69 games he played on the season was the lowest full season total since he was a rookie in the 2007-08 campaign.

Brooks suffered through a hamstring injury that caused him to miss some time before Christmas, but by all indications, he appeared to be relatively healthy for the remainder of the season.

‘s somewhat questionable rotation choices.

Still, Brooks’ per 36 minutes per game metrics remained in line with what he has done in years past, as he managed 16.0 points and 5.8 assists.

The 16.0 points that he averaged per 36 minutes was his second-highest mark that he has posted in the last five seasons, and takes the back seat only to his 18.2 points per 36 that he posted in the 2014-15 season.

Brooks has always been a reliable player to bring off the bench and score from the point guard position.

If he finds the right fit this summer, it is likely that the 31-year-old will be back in line with his career average of 10.7 points per game, proving to be an important rotational piece to whichever team is fortunate enough to land him.
