5 Roster Moves The Cleveland Cavaliers Need To Make
1. Have LeBron James Opt In
Without LeBron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers will not be at the top of the Eastern Conference. He is more important the Cleveland than Stephen Curry is to Golden State or Kevin Durant is to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
At the age of 31, James is already an all-time great in the NBA. He has only played 986 games which has him currently ranked at No.130 al;-time. However, it is what he has done in those 986 games which is nothing short of amazing.

James is currently 11th all-time in points, having scored 26,833, and is only 113 points behind Hakeem Olajuwon in 10th. Barring injury, look for James to get to eighth place all-time by season’s end.
James is 99th all-time in total rebounds with 7,067. If he keeps his current pace, expect him to be ranked in the top 80 by year’s end.
James is 18th all time in assists with 6,813. At current pace, he will finished the season around 12th all time … and he is not even a point guard.
James is ranked 24th all time in steals with 1,657. Look for him to be in the top 20 by the seasons end.
So to recap, he is top 25 currently in three major statistical categories, and top 100 in a fourth.
That there is the definition of superstar and why Cleveland need to have him to remain relevant.
Kyrie Irving is a good player who has matured recently. Kevin Love is good depending on the day. James is the only established superstar on the team.
Irving will get there but he has a few more seasons to learn what is possible for yourself and when a teammate is in a better position.
