2. Pick Up Team Option For Cristiano Felicio

From what I can see, it looks like the Chicago Bulls are starting to do one of those dreaded rebuilds. To remember the one that they did back in the ’80s, I believe that netted them arguably the greatest player of all time and six championships so I guess it is not all doom and gloom.

Cristiano Felicio played sparingly for the Bulls last year, He is a young center out of Brazil who is yet to establish himself.

His minutes should increase this year with Gasol gone but the biggest benefit for Chicago is this rebuild is the size payment that he is likely to get.

Putting a big player in a roster slot for under $1 million, that has to be a win for Chicago. Chicago need to take up Felicio’s team option so that they have enough money to sign a big name free agent.

I would love to see Felicio develop, he got some quality minutes towards the end of last year. In the last 10 games, he played nine of them and averaged 17,6 minutes, 7.6 points and  5.6 rebounds per night. Not bad numbers for a first year player .
