5 Roster Moves The Indiana Pacers Need To Make
The Indiana Pacers were involved in the second trade prior to the draft and on draft day they made a deal with the Brooklyn Nets. Here are five more roster moves they need to make.
It seems that the Indiana Pacers are not destined to have a quiet offseason. Last season, they lost Roy Hibbert and David West to free agency and Larry Bird decided that the whole style of the team would change.
Little did he know how well they would go. Under Frank Vogel they made it into the playoffs, eliminated in the first round by the Toronto Raptors in seven tough games.
All season it appeared that they would only go as far as Paul George would take them and in case the NBA forgot, that man is a superstar. In 81 games he averaged 34.9 minutes, 23.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.9 steals per game. Talk about carrying a team.
He did receive support from Monta Ellis (13.8 points per game), George Hill (11.8 points), C.J. Miles (11.8 points per game) and rookie Myles Turner (10.3 points per game, 1.4 blocks per game).

Already, through trade, Indiana is looking so scary for next season. They have upgraded their point guard from George Hill to Jeff Teague, which was done prior to the draft. This was done with no additional cost to the Pacers, as both had the similarly valued contracts.
Then Indiana pulled a trade on draft day that sent shudders through the offices of every Eastern Conference . They traded the 20th overall pick to the Brooklyn Nets for Thaddeus Young. Last season Young averaged 33.1 minutes, 15.1 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.
This makes Indiana look like a scary prospect to play against. Here are five roster moves they still need to make
