1. Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings could get in Rubio what they thought they were getting with Rajon Rondo. Both are pass-first players, although Rubio is a much better defender and has helped make his team better, while Rondo typically just forces plays to pad his stats.

The Kings have a stockpile of big men that they could use to target Rubio or could offer up Ben McLemore in a deal, a player in desperate need of a change of scenery.

Having a high-character player like Rubio would be a great addition for the Kings. He can help get DeMarcus Cousins quality looks in the pick and roll and his unselfishness is infectious. Rubio is also somebody that isn’t afraid to push the pace.

The Kings won 33 games last season, despite all the drama and infighting. Rubio’s stability would be a welcome addition to the team and could potentially help them get over the hump.
