50. Anfernee Hardaway

Orlando Magic 1993-99, Phoenix Suns 1999-2004, New York Knicks 2005-06, Miami Heat 2007

The Golden State Warriors used the No. 3 overall pick in the 1993 NBA Draft to take Memphis State standout Anfernee Hardaway, then quickly traded the pick along with first-rounders in 1996, 1998 and 2000 to the Orlando Magic for No. 1 overall pick Chris Webber.

Nicknamed “Penny,” he was a four-time All-Star and three-time All-NBA selection in Orlando, finishing third in the MVP voting in 1995-96.

The Magic reached the NBA Finals in 1995, but lost to the Houston Rockets in a four-game sweep, and Hardaway began to experience knee problems in 1996-97 before missing all but 19 games in 1997-98.

In August 1999, Hardaway was traded to the Phoenix for Danny Manning, Pat Garrity and first-round picks in 2001 and 2002.

But Penny was limited to four games in 2000-01 and 58 in 2002-03 and was traded in January 2004 along with Stephon Marbury and Cezary Trybanski to the Knicks for Antonio McDyess, Charlie Ward, Howard Eisley, Maciej Lampe, Milos Vujanic and first-round picks in 2004 and 2010.

Limited severely by injuries at this point, Hardaway played in just 83 games over parts of three seasons in New York and was traded at the 2006 trade deadline along with Trevor Ariza back to Orlando for Steve Francis.

The Magic waived him two days later. He briefly caught on with the Miami Heat after a one year retirement, signing in August 1997 and playing in 16 games before being waived in December 1997.

Hardaway is currently a part-owner of the Memphis Grizzlies.

The final tally on Hardaway’s NBA playoff career:

NBA Finals: 0-1
Conference Finals: 1-1
Conference Semifinals: 2-1
First Round: 3-5
