2. Josh Jackson, Kansas Jayhawks

Position: Small Forward
Age: 19 (2/10/1997)
Height, Weight, Wingspan: 6’7.75″, 203 pounds, 6’9.75″
Slash Line: N/A
Season Averages: N/A

There is a genuine possibility that Josh Jackson will emerge as the best prospect in the country. He has an underwhelming wingspan for a small forward, and his jump shot is erratic, but Jackson has tremendous upside.

Bill Self has proven quite capable of developing elite athletes into top prospects, and that’s what he’ll have the chance to do with Jackson.

Jackson is the type of rim-rattling dunk artist who will endear himself to fans across the country. He doesn’t shy away from contract, plays easily above the rim, and is an outstanding finisher when given a running start.

Even in the half court, Jackson is an apt straight-line finisher who moves well without the ball.

Jackson is mostly upside, but that’s what’s found with a vast majority of freshmen. He’s also old for his class, but that shouldn’t be held against him considering he’ll only be 20 years old come the 2017 NBA Draft.

Jackson is more upside than anything else, but if he bulks up and improves his jump shot, he could be a powerful two-way player.
