The NBA Draft is a stage where 60 players see their dreams become their reality. Much of the hype is surrounded the top projected picks, especially the top two of this year’s draft, but as the years go on, even the second-round selections can be key parts of building a championship roster.

There were a few teams that headed into Thursday night with a number of picks. Boston entered the night with eight total picks with three coming in the first-round and five coming in the second-round. Philadelphia had three picks including No. 1, No. 24, and No. 26. Phoenix had four total picks with two of them coming in the lottery.

There is always opportunity for teams to improve during the draft. Even if a team that doesn’t hold a draft pick, trading in to get one is a common theme.

After the chaos has settled down somewhat, let’s take a look at the winners from draft night.
