5. Sign Jeff Green

Milwaukee could use a combination forward to come off the bench who has the ability to start as well. They could also use a little more experience at the franchise. Jeff Green, at age 29, fulfills every one of those needs.

In Green’s eight years in the league he has played for four teams, meaning that he is on the move on average once every two years. Even through this, Green’s quality as a player has come through, averaging 14.0 points per game for his entire career.

Some might have a concern with this, why is he traded so often. My explanation is I don’t think coaches know how to use the versatile forward.

Then, when they want to position their team to move forward in the playoffs, Green, who is a guaranteed contributor is part of a trade deal to sweeten it.

If he moves to Milwaukee I do not think that this will be a problem any more. Milwaukee already has one incredibly versatile player in Antetokounmpo. Adding a second would only serve to make their lineups more unpredictable.

Milwaukee has the base roster to be anything in the next few years. A little experience and some roster depth changes will see them move back into the playoffs quickly. How far depends on the development of these players.
