2. Draft Well

Milwaukee has one first-round pick and two second-round picks in the upcoming draft.

Pick No. 10. With this pick, I would suggest that Milwaukee takes the best remaining big in the draft. If moving Monroe on is the goal, then selecting Jakob Poeltl would help with the center rotation.

Poeltl already has the ability to play both ends of the floor and defense is an area that Milwaukee needs to work on.

The 7-foot-1 center from Utah averaged 17.2 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. These rebounding numbers will hopefully help Milwaukee move from the fourth-worst rebounding team in the NBA to the top half of this statistic.

His post moves won’t hurt the offense either.

Pick No. 36: If he was still available at this time I would love to see Milwaukee pick up Thon Maker, Imagine the athleticism that would be on display.

I do think that Milwaukee needs to select a shooting guard here; Dejounte Murray would be a good option if he is still available. The combo guard from Washington averaged 16.1 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists in his 34 games played.

Pick No. 38: Here Milwaukee needs to select the best available talent left in the draft, be it big or small. There have been some gems in the draft around this area so pick and develop. Draymond Green and Paul Millsap worked out well for their respective teams.
