Dario Saric

Sam Hinkie wasn’t content to stop at just one gamble in the 2014 NBA Draft, though. Hinkie traded Elfrid Payton, whom he took with the 10th pick, to Orlando in a deal for them to draft Dario Saric at the 12th spot.

Saric was the top prospect born in Europe: an extremely versatile player with a very high basketball IQ. Saric was named player of the year in the Adriatic League where he led the league in scoring and rebounding.

Saric has shown improvements overseas in the past two seasons especially on the offensive side of the ball.

It is reported that he is likely going to come to Philadelphia this year, which is great news for the Sixers because they will be able to get him on a rookie-scale contract and they need all of the talent they can get on the floor after the past few dreadful seasons.
