1. Atlanta Hawks
When looking for a landing spot for Greg Monroe, one of the key things you look for is a strong defensive power forward to help cover up for his weaknesses.
There is no denying that Paul Millsap fits that description and with other strong defensive players around him, the Atlanta Hawks look like a decent fit for Monroe should Al Horford leave in free agency.
The Hawks were second overall in defensive efficiency last season and while Monroe would certainly hurt that figure, they possess strong spacing around him and a quality defensive system that should hide some of his flaws.
The Hawks were killed from three-point range in the playoffs by the Cleveland Cavaliers and weren’t able to get shooters like Channing Frye off of the floor by punishing him in the post. Monroe would provide them with the ability to do just that should they go after him.
The Bucks are looking for an upgrade at the point guard position and Jeff Teague has been in and out of trade rumors all year with the emergence of Dennis Schroder, so there is potential for a deal to be worked out here.
