LeBron James followed his Game 5 performance up with an even better performance in front of the home crowd in Game 6. James scored 41 points for the second straight game while facing elimination in the NBA Finals.
James was more efficient in Game 6 shooting 16-for-27 (59.3 percent) from the field, he was 3-for-6 from three-point range and 6-for-8 from the free-throw line.
He also set his teammates up with 11 assists. He was a force on the defensive end with eight rebounds, four steals and three blocks.
James’ performance was pure dominance. In the three games the Cavs faced elimination, he averaged 36.3 points, 11.6 rebounds, 9.6 assists, 3.0 steals and 3.0 blocks per game, going 3-0 in that stretch and delivering Cleveland their first major sports championship since 1964.
