2. 73

No team in NBA history has won more games in a single regular season than the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors. And yes, comment section bandits, that includes the now infamous 1995-96 Chicago Bulls.

All things considered, the Warriors had the greatest regular season in NBA history—and nothing can be held against that.

The 1995-96 Bulls finished the regular season at 72-10, which stood as the best record of all-time for nearly 20 years. Exactly 20 years later, however, the Warriors managed to get one up on the greatest team of all-time.

Golden State was given a run for its money towards the end of the season, but finished 2015-16 at 73-9—one win better than those legendary Bulls.

Winning 73 games is a feat that will never be forgotten. Even the Warriors’ detractors would have a tough time poking holes in that win total, as it stands as something that unequivocally establishes Golden State’s greatness.

Love it or hate it, no team in NBA history has won more regular season games than the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors.
