1. You Can’t Stop Him, You Can Only Hope To Contain Him

As it was mentioned earlier, the series was all but over after the Warriors took three of the first four games, including what appeared to be a back-breaking loss for the Cavaliers in Game 4.

Following that defeat, there was talk about how LeBron James was on the verge of losing for the fifth time in seven Finals appearances.

How did King James respond?

On the heels of a brilliant 41-16-7 outing in Game 5, James was at it again in Game 6. With his team facing yet another win-or-go-home scenario, James helped the Cavaliers stave off elimination once more.

He finished with 41 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds. Even more important, when the Warriors were trying to make a push, James scored 18 consecutive points during a stretch that spanned from the latter part of the third quarter into the early minutes of the final period.

In addition to that, James also had four steals and three blocks, including this one on Curry.

After all the chatter about how the Warriors were about to win their second title at the expense of James, the narrative has quickly changed to how the Cavaliers may be the first first team to ever come back from a 3-1 deficit in the Finals.
