4. Petr Cornelie

Diallo is a player who may be able to help the Suns in the future, but if they actually wind up using three or even four of their draft picks, shouldn’t they be on players that can help right now or draft-and-stash products?

Enter Petr Cornelie, who, like Diallo, wouldn’t be an active contributor for the Suns for a few years, but for a more favorable reason: Phoenix can keep him stashed overseas and let him continue developing until they have more room on the roster.

At 20 years old, this 6’11” power forward is a lanky, more prototypical stretch-4. He runs the floor well and could develop into an ideal pick-and-pop player in the NBA because of his three-point range.

Though he’s still developing his low-post game and needs to get stronger, this native Frenchman is one of many tantalizing draft-and-stash prospects the Suns should consider in the event they don’t package their picks in a trade.
