3. Speaking Of The Bench

To be honest, the Cavs’ bench has not given the team much of a lift in this series. Sure, the second unit did produce 30 points in the Warriors’ 110-77 victory in Game 2.

But in the other four games, the second unit combined for a total of just 52 points. That’s an average of 13 points per contest folks.

Simply put, this is a trend that has to change.

Meanwhile, the Warriors have had key performances from several of their bench players, including Andre Iguodala (who has scored in double figures three times), Shaun Livingston (20 points in Game 1) and Leandro Barbosa, who scored in double figures in Games 1 and 2.

Fortunately, the Cavaliers have fared pretty well considering the starting five has had to do most of the heavy lifting. However, with another opportunity to stave off elimination and keep their championship hopes alive, the Cavaliers will need a superb performance from this group.
