5 Roster Moves The Phoenix Suns Need To Make
This season, the Phoenix Suns imploded with the Morris Brothers saga. Then the season began and they were awful. Their 23-59 record was only good enough for fourth-worst in the NBA. Here are 5 roster moves they need to make.
Before last season even began the Phoenix Suns made waves. They had both Marcus Morris and Markieff Morris under contract. They then decided to make a business decision and trade Marcus Morris to Detroit.
At this point Markieff Morris decided to tell the world that he would never play for Phoenix again. Then, I am willing to guess on advice from others he reversed that statement on the eve of the season. For me though, the die was cast and Phoenix would struggle.
And struggle they did. Their start to the season was bad, the full squad played and at the 32 game mark before Eric Bledsoe got injured they were 12-19, winning 39 percent of their games. Bledsoe then did his third major knee injury in six years and Phoenix began to play really badly.
Without Bledsoe they had a 11-40 record, 21 percent of their games were wins. That pace was not even good enough to get past the Brooklyn Nets. I don’t need to tell you how bad they were last season.
