Washington Huskies phenom Marquese Chriss is moving up draft boards in an incomparable way. He was on the radar for most of the season, but in recent weeks, he’s cracked a number of analysts’ Top 5.

One of the few established skills that Chriss has to go on is his legitimate 3-point range.

Chriss knocked down 21 3-point field goals in 34 games during the 2015-16 season. He hit 13 in his final 12 outings, however, making at least one shot from distance in nine of those 12 appearances.

Chriss has legitimate stretch 4 potential, but that isn’t even the foundation for his upside as a prospect.

Chriss is an explosive athlete who can play above the rim with genuine ease. His head goes higher than the basket when jumping off of two feet, and his natural athleticism permits him to play and defend either forward position, and run the floor like a guard.

Chriss projects to be a Top 10 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, and his 3-point shooting is the safety net.
