2. Re-sign Seth Curry

Seth Curry is currently the third string point guard behind Rajon Rondo and Darren Collison. He got extended minutes at the end of the season when Rondo was not playing and showed a bit more about himself.

In the last 10 games Curry averaged 30.1 minutes, 15.5 points and 4.1 assists per game. He made 29 of his 59 attempts from three-point land, which equates to an incredible 49.2 percent.

Even if last year’s display was enough to get him more game time this year, Sacramento is flush with point guards. Curry is insurance for if Rondo decides to ask too much for his services or simply goes elsewhere.

If Rondo and Curry decide to re-sign, Sacramento could look to move either Collison or Curry via trade to improve the forward rotation.

I would trade Collison. He has six years of NBA experience and currently has a higher trade value. For me, Curry is the future of the franchise. He and Cousins are the same age so I can see them forming a John Stockton/Karl Malone type partnership for an extended period.

I do not like drawing comparisons between family members who are in the NBA together as they are their own men, but I think that Seth would like a little of the success that Stephen Curry has enjoyed.
