5. Weather The Storm

No team in NBA history that has fallen behind 3-0 in a playoff series has come back from that deficit. Only three out of 31 teams in NBA Finals history have overcome the 2-0 deficit the Cavaliers currently face and won the championship.

With the staggering weight of history bearing down on them — against a historically great 73-9 team, no less — it’s no secret that Cleveland will be playing with a sense of desperation in a do-or-die Game 3.

Whether that will enough to overcome the glaring advantages the Warriors have in nearly every facet of the game remains to be seen, but if the Cavs get off to a fast start in front of a fired up Quicken Loans Arena, the Dubs have to maintain their composure and weather the storm.

Over the course of a full 48-minute game, the only team that can beat the Warriors is themselves. With LeBron James’ back against a wall and the Warriors still two victories away from finishing this thing off, the Dubs can’t get complacent like they were in their last three Game 3s.
