Can Draymond keep his cool?

It’s well-established and well-documented that Draymond Green is a tad combustible. That combustibility has landed Green within one flagrant foul of earning a one-game suspension.

Green has accumulated five technical fouls and three flagrant foul points throughout the playoffs. If Green gets to seven technical fouls or four flagrant foul points, he’ll earn a one-game suspension.

The latest Green mini-controversy was a kick to the groin of Thunder center Steven Adams that earned Green a flagrant two foul after the game by the league, but some wanted to see a suspension.

After that kick, nothing Green will do will go under the radar and he’ll have to be on his best behavior to avoid a suspension.

Green is a hot head with a penchant for constantly talking to the refs.

If Green can’t control his temper or his mouth, he’ll be putting his team at a major disadvantage in the next game without his services.

Green sat out only one game this season, a Jan. 13 matchup against the Denver Nuggets in which the Warriors lost.

The Cavaliers are a drastically better team than the Nuggets and a game without Green would likely end with the same result.

It will be interesting to see if Green can stay out of trouble while also bringing the energy and grittiness that he’s known for.
