4. Kevin Love Has Be Consistently Effective

In the conference finals against the Thunder, the Warriors’ used Draymond Green to shadow third-year guard Andre Roberson, who averaged 4.8 points and 3.6 rebounds per contest during the regular season.

The strategy was used  as a means to allow Green to provide defensive assistance on the Thunder’s star players because Roberson wasn’t viewed as much of a scoring threat.

Roberson made the Warriors pay for that strategy in Games 3 and 4, scoring 13 and 17 points, respectively. Over the last three contests, however, he averaged seven points per outing and shot 9-for-21 from the field.

The good news for the Cavaliers is that Kevin Love brings more to the table than Roberson.

While he had poor performances in Games 3 and 4 against the Raptors, Love finished the series averaging 22.5 points per game on 62 percent shooting, including an impressive 58 percent clip from beyond the arc.

If Love can continue to be a consistent third scoring option, and play somewhat respectable from a defensive standpoint, the Cavaliers should get the better of this matchup.
