Timberwolves stay at 5th overall and draft Kris Dunn

Assuming Kris Dunn lasts until the fifth selection, he would likely be the best player available on the board for a Thibodeau-led squad.

The combination of playmaking offense and stifling defense make him a possibility for the Timberwolves. Current starter Ricky Rubio has been good, but Tyus Jones has done nothing to establish a claim for the backup role.

Drafting Dunn provides a large amount of flexibility among the guards and wings. Rubio and Wiggins could start while Dunn and LaVine come off the bench.

LaVine could also slide into the starting lineup to add more shooting, pushing Wiggins to small forward and allowing Dunn to be the featured weapon off the bench.

As one of the best defenders in the draft, Thibs is sure to consider adding the guard from Providence.
