16. player. 18. Age: 18 (7/24/1997)
Height & Weight: 6’7″ & 185 pounds
Slash Line: .468/.433/.611
Season Averages: 12.2 MPG, 4.6 PPG, 1.3 RPG, 0.6 APG, 0.9 3PM
The Boston Celtics have an undersized backcourt, to say the very least. Isaiah Thomas is 5’9″, Avery Bradley and Terry Rozier are 6’2″, and Marcus Smart is a 6’4″ guard without a defined position.

Adding a 6’7″ shooting guard with explosive athleticism and a lethal 3-point shot would be wise.

Korkmaz is a natural athlete who plays well above the rim and excels as a straight-line finisher. He needs to improve his craftiness in creating dribble penetration, but that’s to be expected of an 18-year-old incoming rookie.

Korkmaz has genuinely explosive athleticism, and that cannot be taught.

Beyond his ability to jump high and run fast, Korkmaz seems to have a strong preliminary feel for the game. He moves well off-ball, including his ability to work the baseline, and is a willing passer with a very nice jump shot.

Korkmaz is a project player, but his long-term potential makes him worth the investment.
. Shooting Guard. Anadolu Efes. Furkan Korkmaz
