5. Bismack Biyombo

This may not be the sexiest pick on this least, but Bismack Biyombo brings Dallas a couple of things that it sorely lacked this past season, namely rebounding and shot blocking.

In 2015-16, the Mavs ranked in the bottom half of the league in rebounding and tied for last in the league in blocked shots with just 3.7 per game during the regular season. Needless to say, they are in dire need of some help in both areas off of the bench.

Biyombo is an elite athlete with the ability to clean the glass as well as block shots at a high level and while he may not be a starting caliber for Dallas, he could go a long way to solidifying that end of the floor for Rick Carlisle and company.

Combine that with a relatively low cap hit to sign him, and Biyombo could be a nice addition to the Mavs bench heading into next season.
