2016 NBA Draft: 8 Most Intriguing Prospects

Year: Junior

Kay Felder is the shortest player in the draft. He may also be the most fun player to watch. His great leaping ability was on display at the NBA Combine, where he finished with the second best vertical in NBA history at 44 inches.
Felder, 21, is selected 57th overall by the Memphis Grizzlies in DE’s mock draft. The excitement that Felder brings to the court with his vertical and quickness helps him get drafted.
He is similar to former NBA Dunk Contest winner Nate Robinson, not just because he is small and can leap, but also because he can knock down three-pointers and finish in transition. Felder has a scorer’s mentality and could develop into a solid role player, like Robinson did.
Felder’s a streaky shooter, but he is good at pulling up at shooting off the dribble. He showcases good speed and can play above the rim. The glaring concern is obviously his size, but his athleticism makes up for it.
